Care Policies & Contract Agreement
We appreciate as much advance notice as possible of any changes to regular walking/sitting schedules. We will make every effort to accommodate all requests. Fees will be assessed for last minute requests (less than 36 hours) and for cancellations (less than 48 hours specific to walks/visits). Once pet sitting services have begun, even in the event of early return home, no refunds will be provided. All walks and visits require a 2-hour window to accommodate other client commitments.
DEPOSITS/PAYMENTS FOR OVERNIGHTS/VACATION CARE
All arranged overnights and vacation care require 50% deposit when dates are scheduled/booked on our calendar. Remaining balance is due no later than three-weeks prior to actual care date. If dates are scheduled last minute total balance is due at that time. Holiday/vacation pet-sitting deposits may be returned IF dates are cancelled three weeks prior to scheduled dates.
SNOW DAYS - EXTREME WEATHER
Walks/visits are based on school closing for Montgomery County, MD. No walks or visits will be made on these days, unless arranged. Holiday fee policy is applied (double fee). All pre-arranged overnight/vacation pet- sitting WILL be fulfilled—not based on weather.
Payments can be made via check payable to Wendy Groomes, or mailed ahead of time, and can be paid right here on our site via Booking a Service. Electronic payments are welcome via Messenger, Venmo or Paypal also.
